Eligibility

New employees and eligible dependents may enroll in an MPR health plan within 31 days of their eligibility date.

If you have a new dependent as a result of marriage, birth, adoption, or placement for adoption, you may be able to enroll yourself and your dependents, provided that you request enrollment within 31 days after the eligible life event. Newborns must be enrolled within 31 days of birth in order to receive benefits for routine newborn charges. Newborn coverage is not automatic. Review the Summary of Documentation for Dependent Eligibility for a list of documents you will be required to present when adding a dependent to your plan.
